Getting StartedHow Receipt Maker Works

Receipt Maker works as an interactive receipt editor.

You build the receipt by entering the information that should appear on it. The builder arranges that information into a receipt layout.

The preview updates instantly while you edit.

How the Receipt Preview Works

The right side of the builder shows the receipt preview.

The preview reflects the values you enter in the editor.

When you edit a field, the preview updates immediately.

For example:

  • changing the business name updates the header
  • editing item prices updates the item totals
  • changing tax values updates the totals section

This allows you to verify the receipt before exporting it.

How Sections Control the Receipt

Receipts are built from individual sections.

Each section controls a specific part of the receipt.

Common sections include:

  • Header
  • Two column information
  • Items list
  • Totals
  • Date and time
  • Payment
  • Custom message
  • Barcode

You can edit or remove these sections depending on your needs.

How Information Appears on the Receipt

The builder displays exactly what you enter.

For example:

If you enter a store address, it appears in the header.

If you add items, they appear in the items list.

If you enter totals, they appear in the totals section.

The builder does not guess values. You decide what appears.

Summary

Receipt Maker works as a receipt editor. You enter values into structured sections, and the builder displays those values in a receipt layout that updates instantly.
